David Leong

David is a Children & Families Educator who has helped many couples prepare for their marriage using the scientifically-researched and time-tested Prepare-Enrich (PE) Inc. instrument since 1995. As a certified PE Inc. Seminar Director since 2005, he has also trained many clergy and non-clergy marriage counsellors to use the PE Inc. instrument. 

 

David is a registered instructor with the Ministry of Education, Singapore and currently also serves as a freelance Resource Speaker with Filos Community Services Ltd where he conducts government-approved talks and workshops for parents and primary to post-secondary students. 

 

David obtained his Master of Christian Studies degree from Regent College, Vancouver, Canada in 1993 with Marriage and Families as areas of concentration. He has taught marriage and family related courses at TCA College (1995-2006; 2010-2011) and Covenant Vision School of Ministry (2010-2017).

 

David has also helped many parents who attended the evidence-based Parents Plus Early Years; Parents Plus Children Programme developed by the Mater Hospital, Dublin, Ireland. 

 

David and his wife, Cynthia have been married since December 1987. They have three children who are young adults now. Cynthia has a Master of Arts in Counselling degree and is a clinical counsellor. They have counselled many couples in their marriage preparation.
