Tan Bee Wah

Principal Counsellor

After 18 years of teaching both intellectually disabled and mainstream students, Bee Wah felt called to help troubled children and conflicted adults. She is passionate about helping people who experienced trauma, as well as those facing obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief and loss, and has also counselled adult males battling with drug addictions. 

Bee Wah has been a counsellor at Haven Counselling Centre for the past 2 years, counselling a wide repertoire of clientele of different cultural backgrounds from countries like Singapore, China, India, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling degree from Singapore Bible College and is a registered counsellor (clinical member) with the Singapore Association for Counselling. She is also a certified T-JTA practitioner, fluent in English, Mandarin and Hokkien.

Bee Wah is a mother of three, and enjoys her family life. Apart from counselling, Bee Wah winds down by tending to her collection of plants, walks her adopted dog with her husband, and enjoys baking.
